Experienced Physiotherapist in George
In private practice since 1989, Cecile has seen, and been involved in many sides of Physiotherapy – from the classification of disabled athletes, geriatrics, pulmonary conditions and strokes to a season with a professional rugby team. She has even dabbled in Animal Physiotherapy from time to time.
Since completing her Masters degree in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy at the university of Stellenbosch in 2008 the world of Physiotherapy opened up to her in a new and fresh way, with a deeper understanding of the Neuro-muscular-skeletal system and the multiple treatment concepts available to physiotherapists, encompassing nerve, joint and muscle work from leaders across the world.
She has also been involved with the treatment of psychiatric patients for many years and understands the influences of the mind and emotions on a patient`s experiences of pain and movement.
The experienced physiotherapist, Cecile Steyn, has her own practice rooms in George but also does regular home, hospital visits.
